It is a French – Canadian dish that consists of Frites covered with cheese curds and gravy. It is served all across Canada, but originates from Quebec.

The shopping and nightlife in Montreal is located here. You can wander through Montreal’s countless art galleries or absorb the many theatre and performing art shows that are ubiquitous around the city.
I wish I had brushed up on my French a bit more before coming to Montreal ! Everyone will most likely speak to you in French first and then English. The French Culture really makes Montreal an oasis from other cities in Canada. If you get the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it!
